Brightmetrics ShoreTel Reporting Services
Wow have things changed over the last year for Brightmetrics. Finding our footing and what we wanted to be when we grow up has been a journey but here we are and we’ve landed on something amazing.
Throughout the buildout of Brightmetrics, we’ve always known that what we were creating was going to be a leading business intelligence service that can provide companies with the power to make better decisions from virtually any data held within their network. But that’s an incredibly tall order and it takes time to get there.
In the meantime, we’re building plugins for different data sources. Some will be relevant to a large audience and some are custom built for customers that need to access data from their systems in their own ways.
Our first plugin is our ShoreTel Reporting Services, and the feedback we’re getting from our first users is nothing short of incredible.
The consensus has been that there is nothing like it out there. And by using a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, we can iterate on the product and make it better on a daily basis. Just the other day, we had a customer ask us for a new feature (the ability to centrally manage which users have access to which reports and dashboards). We knew this was an important feature but it was a bit down on our roadmap. When we received an impassioned plea for it, we decided to push it to the top of the list and within 24 hours had a new management feature that was much more useful that either we, or the customer, thought it would be.
It’s really exciting to hear the gratitude from our customers when we can react so quickly to an important need.

It’s completely free, and we don’t ask for any kind of payment until you’ve decided that you want to sign up (which we know you will). Most important for us, is that we get the feedback to make our system better. We have a long list of items on our road map and the comments that we get from our customers are how we prioritize that road map and how we add new items to it.
