Report on Long Distance Calls with Brightmetrics’ ShoreTel Reporting Services
We had a great request from a customer the other day. They wanted to be able to watch for trends and get reports around long-distance and international calls that were being made through their ShoreTel phone system. They can get this information from their phone bill, but it’s just a hassle to disseminate that information to the right people. They were already using our reporting services and didn’t know why they couldn’t get that information from us. And I didn’t know either.
We got that request at about 10am and by the end of the day we had it implemented, tested, and rolled out not only to that company, but our entire base of customers. One of the many advantages of a SaaS (Software as a Service) based product.
We’ll be rolling this into new templates soon, but in the meantime, you can feel free to add it to your own reports or charts. You’ll find this in Trunk Activity Detail and Summary reporting as well as User Activity Detail reporting (not summary).

This is a great example of not only how fast we can iterate the service to continue to make it better, but also shows that your feedback is how we make the product better. Nearly every feature we’re working on for our short term roadmap for the product is a result of a customer request. So please, keep them coming.
